Singapore Government Enterprise Architecture (SGEA)

An Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a set of blueprint that provides a holistic view of business functions, supporting data standards and ICT system and services, regardless of the organisational structure and ownership of these systems.

The Singapore Government Enterprise Architecture (SGEA) provides a service-wide perspective of business functions and ICT initiatives irrespective of the agencies performing and implementing them.

Programme Objective

The objectives of the programme are:

- To facilitate the analysis of central ICT investments and their alignment to business functions.

- To create higher opportunities of collaboration among agencies, leading to the adoption of shared ICT systems and services.

Programme Details

The BA provides common terminology for government business, while the IA and SA provide the data standards and ICT solutions for supporting the business functions identified in BA. The TA defines standards and provides guidelines on the use of technology components to support SA.
