Programme Objective
The Singapore Government Online Portal positions itself as a unified customer centric gateway to the Government information for four different segments. It provides the latest development, information and services for its customers with the various websites under its umbrella.
Programme Details
The Government Segment provides updates of news, speeches and policies about Singapore and the Government.
eCitizen portal (www.ecitizen.gov.sg) is a portal that provides information and services targeting at Singaporean citizens, permanent residents and specific user segments, i.e. Seniors and Youth. It also includes the element of personalisation service, My.eCitizen for citizens and residents to self-serve with notice or alert services. eCitizen also provides an overall architecture which allows cross-agency collaboration to provide information and services by topics of interest, from Culture, Recreation & Sports to Transport & Travel.
The Business portal (www.business.gov.sg) offers easy access to a whole range of services useful for businesses. It is an avenue for businesses in Singapore to apply online for the licences required to operate their businesses. Businesses can also apply for multiple licences through an integrated web-form.
- Non-resident website offers information for any foreigner visitors who are interested to visit, relocate, work or study in Singapore.
